2. Prophecies of Nostradamus for
Poles
The great visionary was born in 1503 as Michael of
Norte Dame. He became known thanks to the great
work which he has created - Les Propheties -
Prophecies. The masterpiece made him famous and
most controversial clairvoyant over the centuries.
Seven volumes of his "prophecies" were published
between 1555 and 1557. Each book contains one
hundred quatrains, but the last book contained 42
quatrains. After he predicted the death of King Henry
II he was summoned to Paris in 1556. There has been
a friend and adviser of Catherine de Medici. From
that moment on Nostradamus became famous in
the whole Europe. His last prophecy concerned the
impending death of his own.
