1.- Architecture: general features.
 Copy red point 1 and introduce a picture of the following elements: wood, brick, tiles,
plaster. You must write the caption of the picture with the name of each element.

semicircular arch, mixtilinear arch, polylobed arch, horseshoe arch, colums, piers, shaft of a

2.- Al-Andalus: architecture
 Copy the features of the Caliphal architecture and add a picture of the interior and exterior
of the Great Mosque at Córdoba, the palace-city of Medina Azahara outside Córdoba and
the Bibál Mardum Mosque in Toledo. You must write the caption of the picture with the
name of each building.
 Copy the features of the Taifa architecture and add a picture of the inside and outside of the
Aljafería Palace in Zaragoza. You must write the caption of the picture with the name of
each building.
 Copy the features of the Almohad architecture and add a picture of the minaret of the Great
Mosque of Sevilla, known as the Giralda, and the Torre del Oro. You must write the caption
of the picture with the name of each building.
 Copy the features of the Nasrid architecture and add a picture of the Patio de los Leones in
Alhambra Palace in Granada, a picture of the hexagonal dome of the “Sala de las dos
Hermanas” de la Alhambra, and a picture of the baths of La Alhambra.
