12. Conclusion
From these results we have concluded that our main protagonist
male and all 4 protagonist will be between the ages of 18-19.
Our target audience have decided that they want the location of the
opening sequence to be in a city like Leicester or Nottingham.
The audience also decided the song to be Lana Del Reys ‘Young and
Beautiful’ but we are going to go against their decision due to the
song being to sad for an opening sequence. So we are going to use
Jack Johnsons’ ‘Better Together’ because it is more appropriate
for our plot as it is about friendship and it is an upbeat song which
connotes the happiness presented in our opening sequence.
We are also going to go against our target audience decision of
low key lighting, as rom-com’s normally present high key lighting
because it is traditional in a rom-com. Low key lighting may be
used in a romantic scene but that will not be shown in our opening
sequence.

13. The main character is going to extrovert and we are going
to use dialogue through the sequence.
We are going to film the eye locking scene in a medium
close up, so we are able to see the intimacy between
them. Also for the skate-boarding scene our target
audience has decided they want a long shot of them
skate boarding across the camera.
In terms of actors, our main protagonist will be inspired by
Zac Efron, with his looks and acting type.
