2. The gaming community is a big community as the gaming industry has grown to a big amount
of 100 billion dollars worldwide.
3. -The major problem in the gaming community is the gaming disorder that individuals get.
- As stated by Andre in 2020,"Gaming disorder was included in the 11th revision of the
International Classifications of diseases“
.-long term effects such as, mental illness, underperforming in work and negative changes
in their social life with their family and friends.
4. Effects-
Speckman in 2013 has said that being addicted to gaming has been heavily associated with
having problems with the physical well-being of an individual.
Andre in 2020 has said that if an individual plays a lot of video games, it is massively
associated with them needing to seek treatment for psychological health.
Andre has also stated that being addicted to gaming has been associated with anxiety,
depression and other mental illnesses including low self-esteem.
A cause-
It has been said by Andre that that there was a correlation with being at a young age and having
an addiction to gaming.
5. Addiction to gaming will cause problems
Socialize more/go outside more often
