This document provides an update on shots being considered for inclusion in a music video for the song "Leaping Tiger". It identifies several establishing shots of Auckland that will be used due to their fitting narrative and aesthetic. Two additional shots are highlighted for their movement, color palette, and "movie like" quality achieved through adjusting camera settings. Some shots will not be used because they were filmed at awkward angles or have a predominately blue color palette rather than the intended predominantly grey palette with blue elements.

2. SHOTS WE WILL USE
This shot will be included
in our music video as it is
a nice establishing/ wide

This shot also blends well with others of ours that we are planning to use, as it is a
Similar colour palette, and includes water, which features in a number or shots we
Hopefully plan to include. All of this helps to make the music video more consistent
And cohesive.

3. AFFIRMATIVE SHOTS
These are two more shots from our test
footage that we are definitely keen to
include into our music video at this stage.
They both fit in with the aesthetic we are
trying to create, e.g. similar colours and
imagery.
The bottom screen grab from one of our
shots shows movement, as it is a tracking
shot. With altering the camera settings to
shoot at 24fps, it gave it the movie like
affect that we wanted to create, and this is
one of the more effective shots we were
able to capture that reflects this.

4. SHOTS WE WILL NOT
USE
The main reasons for not including these
shots is that they are filmed at awkward
angles, e.g. the framing of them is not good
enough for the final edit, but gave us a
good idea of how we can improve them
when filming more. This can be done by
making sure the shots are in clear focus,
and experiment with more interesting
camera angles. E.g. worm eye view of
buildings and large structures, to give them
a more mammoth effect.
These shots are also rather blue, and what
we had in mind for our final edit is having a
more, predominately grey colour pallet,
with elements of blue. Unfortunately on the
day we filmed these test shots, it was a
perfectly sunny and cloudless day, and not
the overcast one we hoped for!
