Stop motion was first editedon Serif Movie +, thenexported on to AdobePremier.
Once the stop motion sceneswere exported, we were ableto edit these further. Forexample, making the sadflashback a black and whitecolour and adding a date atthe bottom, so it reinforcesthat its in the form ofpictures.
Here we chose to use aneffect which goes with theartist pulling down thepicture- this effect is calledpage turn.To get the turn correct wehad to adjust this our self.
We decided to start thevideo off with a blur effect aswe thought this was a betteridea then going straight intoit.
We chose to use a spiltscreen after receivingaudience feedback. To get the spilt in the middlewe had to ensure we couldsee both scenes clearly andthe width was equal.
In order to get the splitscreen off we decided to usea slide.
To get into the stop motionscenes we decided to use adissolve. To get out of these sceneswe decided to dip into black.
We decided to edit thelength of the dissolve as wedidnt want it to last.
As the scene were she ispacking the box was reallylong we decided to cut thescene and join it to anotherpart of the same scene. Herewe also used a dissolve as wewanted the scene to flow.
In this last scene we alsodecided to add a crossdissolve, as we thought thislooked effective.
