Zak Allen was a student leader at Chaffey Community College from 1998-2000, serving as a senator and then Student Body President in 1999-2000. He worked 30 hours a week off-campus while taking a full course load and serving in leadership roles. As President, he led many community service initiatives and successfully lobbied to establish a student fee that now provides $300,000 annually in scholarships, campus programs, and student programming. The director describes Zak as selfless and committed to giving back to his peers and community without family support. She believes he has grown through higher education and will be a good citizen and trusted employee based on his determination and continued volunteerism.

The Zak Allen I know has been selfless and committed to giving to his peers!community.
He did this without family emotional support. He has kept in touch with me as most of my

i:':.2 11as grown and IIlatured with higher education. I ask th.at you review his efforts of self
improvement and service to others. I have fOlUld him to be a person of integrity. He has
discussed candidly his failing and his strengths. From observation in working with college
