API Standard 610
What?
 API “American Petroleum Institute” dibentuk pada tahun 1919 sebagai
organisasi penetapan standar dan telah mengembangkan lebih dari 700
standar untuk meningkatkan keselamatan operasional dan lingkungan,
efisiensi dan berkelanjutan. Salah satunya adalah API 610
 API 610 adalah standard untuk pompa Centrifugal yang di pergunakan di
industry migas dan petrochemical
 Dibuat untuk mempermudah seorang engineer untuk membuat
breakdown spesifikasi peralatan dengan standard yang telah di
sempurnakan untuk saat ini sudah di edisi 12
 Dan juga dalam proses tender/lelang pengadaan pompa perlu di tetapkan
standar yang di pergunakan agar terdapat kesamaan spesifikasi dari
seluruh peserta dan hasilnya adalah spesifikasi yang sama dengan harga
yang kompetitif dari setiap produsen/peserta lelang
Classification?
Type OH1
Pompa Foot mounted, single stage, overhung pump di sebut sebagai OH1.
Pompa ini disebut TIDAK memenuhi seluruh spesifikasi dari API 610,
dikarenakan Rating pressure casing pompa dan Casing support tidak
memenuhi guidelines API 610
Type OH2
Pompa Centerline-mounted, single stage, overhung pump sudah bisa di
sebut sebagai OH2.
Pompa ini memiliki bearing housing tunggal untuk bagian DE dan NDE
sehingga bisa meredam getaran di shaft dan menjaga posisi rotor stabil
saat operasi
Type OH3
Vertical, in-line, single stage overhung pumps.
Memiliki bearing housing yang integrated dengan casing pompa untuk
dapat menahan beban tinggi. Driver motor biasanya di mounting ke pompa
dengan support yang integrated juga dengan casing. Driver motor ke
pompa menggunakan flexible coupling
Type OH4
Rigid coupled, vertical, in-line, single stage overhung pumps.
Shaft pompa dan motor di couple dengan coupling rigid
Pompa ini TIDAK memenuhi seluruh persyaratan API 610
Type OH5
Close coupled, vertical, in-line, single stage overhung pumps.
Shaft pompa dan motor di couple dengan coupling rigid
Pompa ini TIDAK memenuhi seluruh persyaratan API 610
Type OH6
High speed, integral, gear driven, single stage overhung pumps.
Pompa ini memiliki integral gearbox dengan shaft gearbox degan motor di
couple dengan coupling flexible
Pompa bisa di desain untuk vertical atau horizontal
Type BB1
Axially split, One and Two stage, Between bearing pump. Disebut pompa
BB1 di API 610-edisi 12th pompa ini di klasifikasin menjadi 2 type:
a). BB1-A (foot mounted)
b). BB1-B (near centerline mounted)
type BB2
Radially split, One and Two stage, Between bearing pump, disebut sebagai
pompa BB2
Type BB3
 Axially split, Multistage, Between bearing pump, disebut sebagai
pompa BB3
Type BB4
Single casing, radially split, multistage, between bearing pump, disebut
sebagai pompa BB4. Pompa ini juga disebut Ring-section pump,
segmental-ring pump atau tie-rod pump
Pompa ini TIDAK memenuhi requirement API 610 karena potensi kebocoran
di di setiap bagian ring casing

Double casing, radially split, multistage, between bearing pump, disebut
sebagai pompa Barrel “Barrel-Pump”
Type VS1
 Wet pit, Vertically suspended, Single casing diffuser pump, Discharge
di alirkan melalui column pompa
Type VS2
Wet pit, Vertically suspended, Single casing volute pump, Discharge di
alirkan melalui column
Klasifikasi Pompa
 Pompa type VS3
Wet pit, Vertically suspended, Single casing axial-flow pump, Discharge di
alirkan melalui column
type VS4
Vertically suspended, Single casing, Volute, Line shaft-driven sump pumps.
Disebut sebagai pompa model VS4
type VS5
Vertically suspended, Cantilever sump pumps. Disebut sebagai pompa
model VS5
type VS6
Double-casing, diffuser, vertically suspended pumps. Disebut sebagai
pompa model VS6
type VS7
Double-casing, volute or volute plus diffuser, vertically suspended pumps.
Disebut sebagai pompa model VS7
