media text. The room they are standing in is white. The connotations of white
are purity, innocence. A baby is also associated with these words. This could
mean the baby is surrounding them and taking over their lives. White rooms
are also used in hospitals, the rooms are usually sterile and hygienic. This is
symbolic as abortions are often done in hospitals or clinics. The room is also
bare of any belongings which implies that the protagonists do not have any
