Global warming is caused by an increase in greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide that are released through activities like burning fossil fuels and deforestation. These gases trap heat in the atmosphere and cause the greenhouse effect. The consequences of global warming include melting polar ice caps, rising sea levels that could flood islands, and more extreme weather events. To address global warming, we must reduce fossil fuel consumption, plant more trees, use renewable energy, and develop eco-friendly technologies and practices.

Global Warming is the increase of Earth's
average surface temperature due to effect of
greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide
emissions from burning fossil fuels or from
deforestation, which trap heat that would
otherwise escape from Earth.

will melt.
• Sea levels will rise, due to which some
Pacific islands will drown.
• More frequent storms, floods and droughts
due to a change in climatic conditions.
• Storms and floods will cause $ billions of
damage all over the world.

7. What we should do about it?
• Plant more trees.
• Reduce the consumption of fossil fuels.
• Use cars fitted with a catalytic converter.
• Increase the consumption of eco-friendly
products.
• Encourage environmental friendly
production with minimum emission of
harmful pollutants.
