Teacher-directed portions of the class will
be viewed on StarBoards through use of the
Elluminate program.
Independent activities will be done through
the use of district provided netbooks.
Students will share their examples and
works by synching district provided iPod
Touches.
3. Rationale for Course
Figurative language is a difficult concept for
students. PSSA scores are typically lower in this
area.
Students have already received homeroom
instruction on these concepts. This course is more
of a review.
Students are exploring the idea behind presenting
and sharing their work with a variety of users and
receiving feedback from multiple perspectives.
