As stated in the syllabus for this project, you will be forming a hypothetical non-profit
organization for a specific vulnerable population in Nevada. This organization should
address some inadequacy that politicians or policies have failed to address. (homelessness,
deficits in education and students needing more help outside of school, human trafficking
victims/children, deaf community, victims of gun violence, mental health patients, domestic
violence victims (men/women, abused children, patient advocacy for victims of the medical
system, an awareness group of some sort pertaining to food safety etc.).For this
assignment:1) Briefly describe the non-profit you intend to create (no less than 100 words)
and why it is important to Nevada. This must be for Nevada and to address a Nevada policy
issue.2) Give your organization a name.3) Research what a mission statement is for a non-
profit organization and write one. It must be in complete sentences, it must be more than
three sentences, and it must be grammatically correct.You may use sources for this but they
