2. Research into P&A
I looked at other films that are the same genre as
the “Black Rose” to get an idea of how they
tackled their print and advertisements in order to
attract their audience. For example I looked at
Insidious due to the fact it’s a physiological
thriller much like the black rose.
4. My P&A- Website
This is my homepage to my website for the Black Rose. I have
attracted/addressed my audience by using social media such as
Facebook and Twitter due to the fact these two sites are both
expanding beyond belief and are a perfect way to keep your
audience updated on whets new. Our group have come up with a
technique in which we could further address our audience and keep
them excited for the release of our film. For instance in
the bottom right of the website you can see a picture entitled " Have
you seen this man" from this we have sent this man to all the major
cities in Britain, consisting of London, Birmingham and Manchester
etc. From this he will be handing out "Black Roses" in which each
person would be entered into a draw in which 5 people would
received free tickets to sit the premiere of the film.
6. P&A- Facebook page
As well as making the website to promote the film, we
also made a Facebook page, whereby our fast growing
audience can be kept up to date due to the fact Facebook
is the biggest social platform with a total of 845 million
members.
Facebook allows us to keep our target audience up to
date with the status of the film and gives them an insight
to future competitions and prize draws to a few lucky
people. From this it keeps on attracting and addressing
our audiences.
