complex texts,engagethe studentsincareful readingandcritical analysis.Theywillhave adeeper
understandingof notonlythisliteraturebutotherliterature,history,poems,shortstories,andsongsas
well.Myclassis a 12th
grade APEnglishclasswith23 students;mostof whichare white,2 Japanese
foreignexchange,and4 AfricanAmericans. Bythe endof the weekthe 12th grade APEnglishclasswill
be able to analyze andinterpretqualitywriting,applyeffective strategiesandtechniquesintheirown
writing,create andsustainargumentsbasedonreadings,research,orpersonal experience,demonstrate
understandingof standardwrittenEnglishandanalyze image astextwith85% accuracy. Theywill
achieve thisbyusingthe lessonplansthatIhave preparedwiththe toolsof the technologythatwere
taught tous thispast semesterandwiththe resourcesavailable.
