Week 3 discussion

Hello everyone,
I currently use a 2 in 1 laptop/tablet with touch screen and
digital pen capabilities. My computer uses Windows 10 with a
64-bit operating system, it uses a i5-7200U CPU at
2.50GHz operating speed and has 8.00 GB of RAM and 226 GB
on the hard drive. It is important to understand the capabilities
and specifics of your computer so when you call tech support
you will be able to easily relay information to them about your
system. When it comes to installing software on to your
computer you need to know your operating system because 64-
bit OS (operating system) can process more RAM than a 32-bit
OS. You need to check the software your installing to make sure
your OS can handle its size.

Yes, I am on agreement that are four students
competing for better results to do
better in their college courses although they
face family and social problems.
I believe if the student : Kamden has good
potential to suceed in college because ,
he shows that he can overcome his social and
educational goals by being
persitent in his work and reaching out to his
tutors . Although he has family
family issues at home , he usually tries to do
better at working and solving his problems.
Kamden has to overcome his social problems
and make an effort to balance it out,
by communicating to his mentors at the
university.
He should try to help his parents and
support them in their sickness and struggles
in life . This can be done by always being at
home for them.

Computer Information and Screenshot
Please complete and submit both parts of this assignment:
Part A - Computer Information
In this assignment, you will investigate and learn more about
your own computer. Review the presentation W3 Lecture 2 as it
will show you how to find the information on your computer.
Review the lectures for Week 3 as they will show you how to
find the information on your computer.
· What type of device(s) are you using for class? For example:
12. desktop computer, laptop, tablet, 2 in 1(laptop and tablet),
smartphone etc.
· What is your operating system?
· How much system memory do you have (RAM)?
· How fast is your CPU?
· Do you have a 32-bit or 64-bit machine? A CPU can process
32 bits of information or 64 bits of information at a time (there
are 8 bits in a byte). When you download software from the
internet, sometimes there will be one link for a computer that
has a 32-bit CPU and another link if it has 64-bit CPU. That is
why it is good to know this.
· What is the size of your hard drive?
Answer the questions and take a screenshot of the system
properties area in which you would have found the answers to
questions 2-5.
Part B - Screenshots
In this assignment, we want to see that you are able to take a
screenshot showing you have Microsoft Office.
· Log into Office 365 and take a screenshot showing the
applications. The screenshot would include your name as it
shows when you login
Your Part B screenshot should look similar to this:
Submission Instructions:
· To submit your work, you can answer the 6 questions in the
message box (visual below) and attach the two screenshots.
Remember you probably saved these to your Desktop. (If you
have Microsoft Word and are comfortable using it, you may
paste the two screenshots into a Word document and use it for
your submission.)
· All files submitted for this assignment must have your last
name and course number as part of the filename.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
2
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
Strengths
Life experiences, feedbacks from colleagues and a set of
personal beliefs form the basis upon which strengths were
evaluated. First, it was found that problem solving skill is a
skill that has been nurtured hence applicable in various social
setting. As a student there are numerous problems and
challenges that one will face especially when relating with
colleagues. For instance, during group work, it is likely for
conflict to rise as a result of poor working relations among
colleagues (Gell, 2014). In such a case, problem solving skills
need to be applied in creating a win-win situation where each
party will be made to feel positive.
Second, cultural competence has also been found to be a
strength. It entails the ability of relating with other individuals
in a manner which does not judge their cultural and ethnic
backgrounds (Gell, 2014). Being brought up in a culturally
diverse neighborhood has equipped one with cultural
competence that is applicable at the institution. One will be able
to build effective relationships with colleagues and instructors.
Finally, having inborn leadership skills has also been
established as a strength that will apply in various situations
during learning. For instance, when attending to team’s
responsibility, it is important that a team leader guides the team
14. in a manner which will realize timely attainment of goals (Gell,
2014). As a leader, one take up the responsibility of a leader
and put together a team that will be effective in meeting goals
and objectives. On the other hand, leadership skills can be
applied in taking up leadership roles in associations that will
positively impact one’s career.
Weaknesses
A major weakness one suffers from entails poor time
management skills. In the 21st century, one must be a good time
planner so that all responsibilities can be allocated sufficient
time. More so, one needs to prioritize matters so as to avoid
being a liability when working with teams. Being a good time
manager enables one to avoid spending too much time on a
specific task hence failing to timely complete other waiting
tasks.
An additional weakness entails striking a balance between
school work and life. There are numerous instances where one
is only focusing on school work hence failure to meet other
responsibilities such as spending enough time in establishing
relationships with other members of the society. Striking a
balance between the two factors is highly important when one is
pursuing career as it helps build a more successful one. On the
other hand, an additional weakness entails inability to consult
widely before making a decision. In most cases, it is common
for one to make the final decision without properly putting into
considerations inputs from other parties that may be impacted
by the decision made. There is a need for one to be more
democratic and accommodative so as to avoid making decisions
that may be one-sided and inefficient. Further, when a leader
fails to take inputs of other people into consideration, it is
15. likely for one to demotivate them hence poor performance from
the team (Gell, 2014). Essentially, one needs to adopt a
democratic leadership style.
