Dan 10:21
Dan 10:21
21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the
scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me
in these things, but Michael your prince.
This Bible is a note-worthy book.
The Bible is a Remarkable book; but you can only say that IF
you’ve read it twice.
The first time you read it, it is “markable”.
It is hard to read the Bible with out a pen in hand.
The second time you read it, it becomes “Re-markable”.
There are some spots in the Bible that just compel a person to
pick up a pen and make a note.
Let’s see some of the “Notable” passages in the Bible,
according to the Bible.
I. Noted for Respect- Rom 16:7
2. Rom 16:7
7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my
fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who
also were in Christ before me.
Benjamin Franklin- “Write something worth reading, or do
something worth writing.”
Andronicus & Junia didn’t write any books of the Bible,
but they were doing something Noteworthy.
There is someone you can look up to and those who came
before you that can help your walk; for Paul, Andronicus and
Junia were his helpers who came to Christ before him.
Phil 3:17
17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them
which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
II. Noted for Rebuke- 2Thes 3:14-15
2Thess 3:14-15
14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note
that man, and have no company with him, that he may be
ashamed.
3. 15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a
brother.
Two kinds of people: Brother or Enemy
When a brother does wrong you admonish him.
When an enemy acts good you expose him.
His righteousness is but filthy rags, if he goes about to
establish his own righteousness without submitting to
the righteousness of God, he is rejected of God.
“if any man obey not our word by this epistle”
1:3 Faith growth, charity towards each other
1:4 Patience, in persecution & tribulation (endurance)
3:6 Withdraw from a disorderly brother
3:13 Be not weary in well doing
Isa 30:8-10
8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a
book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and
ever:
9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children
that will not hear the law of the LORD:
4. 10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets,

smooth things, prophesy deceits:

LORD.
2.Leads to gross error- Neh 9:26

against thee, and cast thy law behind their backs, and slew
thy prophets which testified against them to turn them to
thee, and they wrought great provocations.

law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they
should make them known to their children:
6 That the generation to come might know them, even the
children which should be born; who should arise and
declare them to their children:
8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and
rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart
aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
6. B. Lying
Isa 30:9
9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children
that will not hear the law of the LORD:

with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue
hath muttered perverseness.
3.Leads to gross crimes against God- Hos 4:1-2

1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the
LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land,
because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of
God in the land.
2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and
committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth
blood.

8. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Rom 16:17-18
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause
divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye
have learned; and avoid them.
18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ,
but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches
deceive the hearts of the simple.
Gal 4:16
16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you
the truth?
Conclusion- John 5:2
This Bible has on its pages God’s everyday instruction;just like
going to the store you need to make a list.
Read the Bible, but take notes so you remember what you
should be paying attentiontoo. Don’t get side tracked all the
“great” offers in the store you’ve made a list, keep the main
thing the main thing.
9. John 5:2
2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool,
which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having
five porches.
