I. Bible Writing:
Deut 6:6-9 6 And these words, which I command
thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt
teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk
of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when
thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down,
and when thou risest up. 8 And thou shalt bind them
for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as
frontlets between thine eyes. 9 And thou shalt write
them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
Deut 17:18 And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the
throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy
of this law in a book out of that which is before the
priests the Levites:
Deut 27:2-3 2 And it shall be on the day when ye
shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD
thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great
stones, and plaister them with plaister: 3 And thou

2. shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when
thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the
land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that
floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy
fathers hath promised thee.
Josh 24:26 And Joshua wrote these words in the
book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and
set it up there under an oak, that was by the
sanctuary of the LORD.

Deut 17:19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read
therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to
fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this
law and these statutes, to do them:
Matt 12:3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read
what David did, when he was an hungred, and they
that were with him;
Matt 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that
on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane
the sabbath, and are blameless?

Have ye not read, that he which made them at the
beginning made them male and female,
Matt 21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what
these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye
never read, Out of the mouth of babes and
sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
Matt 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read
in the scriptures, The stone which the builders
rejected, the same is become the head of the
corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is
marvellous in our eyes?
Matt 22:31 But as touching the resurrection of the
dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto
you by God, saying,
Matt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let
him understand:)

exhortation, to doctrine.

5. 1Cor 14:20 Brethren, be not children in

Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children,

of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning

unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a

of full age, even those who by reason of use have
their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Deut 31:11 When all Israel is come to appear before
the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose,
thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their
hearing.
Josh 8:34-35 34 And afterward he read all the words
of the law, the blessings and cursings, according to all
that is written in the book of the law. 35 There was
not a word of all that Moses commanded, which
Joshua read not before all the congregation of Israel,
with the women, and the little ones, and the strangers
that were conversant among them.
2Kgs 23:2 And the king went up into the house of the
LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the
inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests,
and the prophets, and all the people, both small and
great: and he read in their ears all the words of the
book of the covenant which was found in the house
of the LORD.
Neh 8:18 Also day by day, from the first day unto the
last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And
they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day
was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.
