You probably haven’t talked about HOW you would like
to present your solution. Now is the time.You have 5
minutes to begin thinking about which format you would
like to use when presenting. Chart paper with pictures? A
powerpoint? Prezi? Interpretive dance?
Just kidding.You can’t use interpretive dance.
5. What should my presentation look like?
•Refer to the rubric that you received onWeds (Day 1)
•Your presentation should clearly walk the class through
the 4 step problem solving process:
•Define the problem
•Collect Data
•Interpret that data to create a focused solution
•Apply that solution
6. What should my presentation look like?
•Your presentation needs to make sure it is presenting an ACTUAL
human impacts issue.
•The presentation needs to be CLEAR. Expectations for clarity are
in your rubric.
•Your solution should be CREATIVE – is it something exciting that
would get people talking?
•Your solution should be APPEALING – did you just slap something
together on a poster, or did you put thought into it? How could
you make your presentation “pop”? NEEDS AT LEAST 3VIS.AIDS
•Your presentation should be split equally among team-mates.
