2. Instructional Email
• First off we want to start by saying thank you for participating in this
project. We are very grateful that you all are willing to help do this. Here
are some examples that you can go off of to help your kids complete the
postcards.
• • They can either draw or cut out pictures that help show their
favorite sport.
• • On the back of the post card they need to tell us who they are
and why they like the sport(s).
• • Please try and get some pictures of the kids working on their
project, and a group photo would also be nice.
• • Please try and have some/all special needs kids doing this
project. If you do not have many special needs kids, it is ok for you to
include kids without disabilities to increase the number of kids
participating.
• • Please try and have this completed and sent back to us by 31
October 2014, if you will be unable to get us the postcards by then, please
just let us know.
• • When you are done with the postcards, please scan and send
them back to us via email. It would be awesome if you could send the
postcards to us in the mail, but if not it is ok. If you are unable to scan the
post cards and send them to us, just let us know how we can help you get
the post cards to us or we will try and figure something out.
• • When we receive both of the group’s postcards, we will
redistribute them to opposite groups and you can show your kids.
• You can contact us by email or phone.

• First, all kids need to have a piece
of paper for this project.
• Second, we had the kids pick and
choose their favorite sport.
• Third, the kids went ahead and
found pictures of their favorite
sports in magazines and made an
art collage to send to the group
here in Murfreesboro.
• The group here in Murfreesboro is
a part of the Children Are People,
Inc. They are going to make the
exact same project and trade with
the Dominican.
• Email made this process fairly easy
unless there was no response
