Visual Argument
All work is due by 11:59 PM on the day/date indicated in this schedule.

Week 13 1. Read:
• Assignment Sheet
• Directions for Blog Post 1
2. Study slidedoc 1: Visual Arguments and Instagram Brand
Identity.
3. Skim the articles under Links on the project page and
refer to these more closely as needed.
4. Decide on the brand you will promote in your visual
argument for Blog Post 1 due Sunday.
5. Signup for Instagram if you are using it for this project.
NOTE: students are strongly encouraged but not
required to use Instagram.
Sunday 4/14 BLOG POST 1 DUE. Go to the blog forum and follow the
directions.
WEEK 14
Thursday 4/18
1. Read: Directions for Blog Post 2
2. BLOG POST 2 DUE, Go to the blog forum and follow the
directions.
3. Use the remainder of this week to finish your visual
argument and compose the reflection paper

PEER REVIEW DUE. Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow
the directions to post a draft of your visual argument and
reflection paper.
Thursday 4/25
Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the directions
review a peer’s draft.
Sunday 4/28 VISUAL ARGUMENT and REFLECTION PAPER DUE
1. Use feedback to revise visual argument and reflection
paper as needed.
2. To submit the visual argument:
• Cut and paste the URL to your Instagram account at
the top of your reflection paper.
OR
If you did not use Instagram, submit your visual
argument in a Word or PDF document file.
If your file is over 1MB, compress the file
http://www.smallpdf.com to compress your file.
3. To submit the reflection paper.
Submit a Word or PDF file.
4. The submissions drop box is at the bottom of the project 4
page.
