3. Class Introduction Post Due: Thursday 1/16.
4. Read Assignment Sheet.
5. Study: slidedocs 1, 2, and 3.
6. Begin drafting the business correspondence package.

MLK DAY: Monday 1/20 - UI is Closed
1. Peer Review Correspondence Package Part 1 Due:
Wednesday 1/15. Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the
directions to post your correspondence page draft.
2. Peer Review Correspondence Package Part 2 Due:
Friday 1/17. Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the
directions to respond to a peer’s draft.
3. Go to Tools and Resources and decide from the options how
you will create the podcast and what host site you will use.
4. Do a test recording. If you encounter a technical issue, follow
troubleshooting steps.

1. Study: slidedoc 4.
2. Pick a presentation style/rule/concept for your audio podcast
and research it to begin writing the script. Practice the script
and record your podcast.
3. Finish drafting your podcast script, practice it, and record the
podcast.
4. Peer Review Podcast Part 1 Due: Wednesday 1/22. Go to the
Peer Review Forum and follow the directions to post the URL to
your podcast for peer review.
5. Peer Review Podcast Part 2 Due: Friday 1/24. Go to the Peer
Review Forum and follow the directions to respond to a peer’s
draft.
PROJECT 1 DELIVERABLES DUE: Monday 1/27. Submit your work as follows to the
submissions drop box located at the bottom of the project page:
• Deliverable 1: Correspondence Package, submit as a single Word or PDF fie with
paragraph breaks separating each part.
• Deliverable 2: Podcast, cut and paste the URL to your podcast in the comment area
of the submissions box or in a separate document file.
To avoid a point penalty, verify your submission. Do not rely solely on bblearn’s confirmation
that your work submitted. You need to check that your work submitted correctly. This means
you need to go back to the drop box after submitting your work and 1) open your document
files, and 2) check that the URL will work by cutting and pasting what you submitted into a
browser.
