Analyze Learners
-identify your audience
-must be analyzed in terms
of their general characteristics,
specific entry competency,
learning styles
ASSURE
MODEL
Analyze Learners
-Number of Students
a. Collaborative Group
b. Big Groups
c. Learning Styles
ASSURE
MODEL
State Objectives
-Learning Outcomes
-Must be stated in
behavioral terms
-Standard: Content or
Achievement
ASSURE
MODEL
State Objectives
-Content Standard: A
second year student in Ed.
Tech. can apply media
techniques and process
ASSURE
MODEL
 State Objectives
-A second year student in Ed.
Tech. conceive and create works

four basic parts:
a. Audience
b. Behavior
c. Condition
d. Degree
ASSURE
MODEL
Audience (Examples)
-First year BSED major in
Math…
-The paramedic refresher…
-The prehospital care
provider…
ASSURE
MODEL
Behavior (Examples)
…should be able to write a
report…

MODEL
Review of ABCD Objectives
-What observable
performance is the learner to
exhibit?
ASSURE
MODEL
Review of ABCD Objectives
-Who is to exhibit the
performance?
ASSURE
MODEL
Review of ABCD Objectives
-What constitutes a minimum
acceptable response?
ASSURE
MODEL
Review of ABCD Objectives
-What conditions are provided

Dale’s Cone of Experience with 75%
accuracy.
ASSURE
MODEL
Select Methods, Media and
Materials
-What are the methods?
-What are media?
-What are the materials?
ASSURE
MODEL
Utilize Media and Materials
-practice using in advance
if you use electronic
equipment
-have plan B
ASSURE
MODEL
Utilize Media and Materials
-After selecting the
materials, follow “5 P’s
Process”
ASSURE
MODEL
 5 P’s Process
1. Preview the technology,
media, and materials
2. Prepare the technology,
media, and materials
3. Prepare the environment
4. Prepare the Learners
5. Provide learning experience
ASSURE
MODEL
Require Learner Participation
-students learn if they’re
actively involved
ASSURE
MODEL
Evaluate and Revise
-most important
-evaluate the entire
instructional processes
ASSURE
MODEL
