This document outlines a student project to simulate wireless sensor networks using MATLAB. The project will involve reviewing literature on wireless sensor networks and MATLAB simulation. The group will study wireless sensor network architectures and implement a network simulation in MATLAB. Over the course of 5 months, the group will conduct literature review, network architecture study, simulation implementation, and complete the project, presenting their findings. The goal is to demonstrate a new simulation methodology for wireless sensor networks using MATLAB's Simulink tool.

3. Introduction:
The main objective behind this project is to simulation of wireless
sensor network in matlab.
Wireless sensor network is use to measure physical parameter such
as pressure, humidity, temperature etc.,
The development of wireless sensor network is motivated by
military application such as battle field surveillance.
Now they are used in many industrial as an civilian application
areas.

 This paper is presented by Mr. Ross L
Spencer(2000), Brigham Young University.
 MATLAB is invented in 1984 by Cleve Moler.
 It is an 4th generation language.
 Supports developing applications with graphical
user interface (GUI) features.
 It can interface with programming language.

 Methodology used is WSN, LEACH, CLUSTER
 In this paper work, a fault analysis based approach is presented to perform the
target coverage in wireless sensor network.

9. Why Matlab?
 MATALB is in our curriculum.
 The Project done in Network Stimulizer(NS2) by
using True Time toolbox.
 MATALAB also have that toolbox in it.
 So we think we should try to do same thing by
different programming language.
