Kerala varma Pazhassi Raja was the young prince of Pazhassiyil Padinjare Kovilakom of Kottayam near
Kannoor.
Pazhassi acted as an ally of British in their Mysore invasions.
The British offered the right to collect revenue in the Kottayam area.
Pazhassi Raja attempted to eliminate colonial power through guerilla welfare with the assistance of his
