Professional Experience
I. Working with India's premier men’s wear apparel brand-Blackberrys since June’2013 as Sr. executive-
Sourcing. Handling aprox 6.5 lacs pcs in a season. Responsible for;
 Apparel sourcing for coats & suits, formal trousers and denim bottoms category with in best possible
time and cost constraints. Had exposure of handling khakis and knitswear as well.
 Vendor Indentification, development, management and evaluation.
 Capacity buying, allocation and utilization through capacity enhancement and capability building.
 Cost closure and delivery negotiation with vendors.
 End to end merchasndising activities eg. BOM creation, fabric and trims requisition, fit/style approval,
PO creation and deliveries.
 Inventory management.
 Supply chain management.
 Production planning and control for inhouse production facility of formal trousers.
 Contribute in product development, range planning, MRP and budget finalization.
 Contribute in formulating future sourcing and execution strategy.
II. Worked with Gaurav International- a leading garment export house from Delhi NCR since June’2012 till
May’2013 as Asst. Merchandiser. Handled Ralph Lauren Polo account. Was responsible for;
 Product development and production for men’s and women’s casual wear primarily woven.
 Fabric and trims projection & ordering.
 Cost closure and T&A planning.
 Conducting pre-production meeting involving PPC and merchandising.
 Follow up with testing labs for fabric and garment testing.
 Handling embroidery, printing and ‘adda work’ jobworkers.
 Follow up with factory, scheduling inline, final inspection for orders.
III. Worked with Orient Craft Pvt. Ltd- a leading garment export house from Delhi NCR region since June’2011
to May’2012. Handled Tommy Hilfiger and Abercrobie & Fitch account. Was responsible for;
 Product development and production merchandising for men’s and women’s casual woven and denim
wear.
 Day to day communication with buying house merchant.
 Style study, sampling and pre-prodcution activities closures.
 Coordination with supply chain management team for fabric, trims and accessories order.
 Interdepartment coordination and follow ups.
 Assiting Sr. merchandiser in cost closures.

I. 5 months (Jan-May’2011) graduation project with Bombay Rayon Fashion Limited, Mumbai
The project title was “Understanding and Analyzing the Marketing Strategies and Merchandising
Practices for Different Buyers”.
II. 3 months summer (May-July 2010) internship with Inditex, Gurgaon. The project tital was
“Corrective Measures for Shipment Delay of Fast Fashion”.
