In Portugal, Christmas is celebrated with a traditional Christmas Eve dinner called Consoado where turkey and typical Portuguese food is eaten. Midnight mass called Mussa de galo is attended. On Christmas Day, presents are opened and "Feliz Natal" is said instead of "Merry Christmas".
