Research Objectives: to evaluate the impact of retail and online shopping.
Research Questions:
 What could be the cost and benefit analysis of retail and online shopping?
 What is the ratio of people who would prefer online shopping over retail chain?
 What’s the age group/category of people who like to spend on Online shopping per
month?
 What types of products would people mostly like to buy online?
2. Managementproblem: What advertising media should we use to reach
our market?
Research Objectives: To determine which advertising vehicles are best for conveying the
company’s message to target market.
OR
To find out the appropriate advertising means for reaching the market.
Research Questions:
 What is the cost of using the particular advertising vehicle?
 What is the nature of the target audience to be reached?
 What is the nature of product to be offered?
 Which element of advertisement will induce more the market (content, graphics,
endorsement and etc.)?
 How much budgeted amount the company keeps aside for advertisement?
 What are the ethical dilemmas exist regarding to advertisement in particular area or
market?

  • 2. Identify the Research Objectives & Research Questions for the Given Management Problems 1. Managementproblem: Should our retail chain offer online shopping? Research Objectives: to evaluate the impact of retail and online shopping. Research Questions:  What could be the cost and benefit analysis of retail and online shopping?  What is the ratio of people who would prefer online shopping over retail chain?  What’s the age group/category of people who like to spend on Online shopping per month?  What types of products would people mostly like to buy online? 2. Managementproblem: What advertising media should we use to reach our market? Research Objectives: To determine which advertising vehicles are best for conveying the company’s message to target market. OR To find out the appropriate advertising means for reaching the market. Research Questions:  What is the cost of using the particular advertising vehicle?  What is the nature of the target audience to be reached?  What is the nature of product to be offered?  Which element of advertisement will induce more the market (content, graphics, endorsement and etc.)?  How much budgeted amount the company keeps aside for advertisement?  What are the ethical dilemmas exist regarding to advertisement in particular area or market?
