4. Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost
importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs.
We are a community-based service providing important medical and non-medical
resources to relieve the burden of family caregivers.
Covenant is also an affordable solution for older individuals or couples capable of
managing their physical needs, but who require non-medical assistance, light
housework, meal preparation and/or companionship in order to remain in their homes.
Our services can be arranged for as little as a few hours or as many as 24 hours a day.
Care is available seven days a week, including holidays.
The founder, Debra Kirk Poppelaars, is a member of the Elite President's Council of the
National Patient Advocate Foundation and Advocate for the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Debra spent several years as her father’s health advocate, gaining a better understanding
of the complexities of the health-care system and how the system can fail seniors, left on
their own. Through that experience she saw just how helpless older adults can
sometimes feel.
Our team is made up of registered nurses, dietitians, health coaches, insurance
specialists, art and music therapists, occupational therapists and certified nursing
assistants among other professionals.
