After successful trials, we’ve expanded our activities to an early adopter program, and ideally, we’d
count your venue as a participant.
The Aim of this technology is to make all events available on the internet. However, it’s early days, one step at a
time. We’re looking for some venues who are willing to work with us to support the Aussie and International lead-
ers participating in events are your venue. Whether you’re venue supports professional, sporting, entertainment
or other types of events – getting involved in webcasting will help your venue get the competitive edge it needs to secure the
more customers.
It’s cheap to use.
•
It provide very high quality video output.
•
Video Output can be received by anyone in the world connected to broadband.
•
Your Clients can choose where and how to publish their events.
•
What is it?
The iTV Company uses the latest Broadband Satellite Technology, and it’s using it in a brand new way.
It’s an exclusive solution developed by The iTV Company that incorporates transmission technology, utilising a brand new
•
type of satellite .
The satellite service provides a unique advantage of being able to transmit high-quality video over to the global broad-
•
band network.
The satellite is connected to a Content Distribution Network. This ensures that the live video feeds are made available to a
•
virtually limitless number of users around the world.
The broadband satellite solution provided by The iTV Company enables LIVE, high-quality, global distribution over the Internet.
The live webcast can easily be set-up on almost any website, and it is not restricted to any one publishing point / website. So,
however your customer might want to use the Live Webcasting capability, we’re flexible
enough to make it happen, and make it available to their communities.
The iTV company works internationally, with one of the biggest CDN providers in the world.
This ensures, that no matter how many users might tune into the live event, it’s made avail-
able.
How does it work?
The iTV Company organises satellite to be installed at your venue. The dish is permanently set-up on the roof, cabling is run from
the satellite dish to fixed points in the building where broadcast technicians can plug-in a specialised modem whenever a live
broadcast is required.
When an opportunity to perform Live Webcasting becomes available, we help your client organise a production team to webcast
their event live.
So how much does it cost clients to use it?
Fully managed production package start at about $5000 Ex. GST. This includes 2 camera, vision mixing, live webcasting and on-
demand delivery after the event.
The Company is working towards a “diy” solution, where participants already recording the event on behalf of teams or
•
community members, can provide vision for the webcasts.
We’re also looking into how to link-in with student groups, of whom many are seeking opportunities to get involved in live
•
video media production events.
We’re interested in Sponsorship and advertising opportunities
•
Down the track, we aim is to be able to provide basic webcasting for community events free of charge. The iTV Company is ac-
tively seeking sponsorship opportunities to make this happen. However, until this happens, the solutions provide a cost effective,
and affordable method to make events available, live and on the internet.
