13. Is Strep worse than it used to be?
• Clinical picture 10 years ago:
• Swollen joints in farrowing and nursery
• Some neurologic pigs in the nursery
• Clinical picture 5 years ago:
• Above signs plus a few neurologic pigs in the farrowing house
• Somewhat sporadic occurrence
• Typically worse in certain flows

14. Current Clinical Picture
• Some mild flows as previously described
• Several flows with the following:
• Several neurologic pigs in the farrowing house
• Pigs needing to be carried off the truck
• Signs continue 2-4 weeks into the nursery
• Worsens with other concurrent infections (IAV, PRRS, etc.)
