John Adams
achievements in life.
 Boston Massacre 1775, the beginning of John Adams
most important times, he was a noble man who only
looked out for the future of everyone but himself. He
was willing to leave his family in the force of duty and
commit himself to his country. Abigail was much more
Greek then John and wouldn’t sacrifice her life for the
duties of her country. John was always leaving Abigail
whenever duty called, one specific journey across
sea’s was when John took John Quincy in the middle
of the night and took him across sea’s for the first
time with him. As John walked down the steep dark
staircase Abigail looked down upon him with
moistened eyes and shivering feelings. She was
unsure if this was right but his duty called and he was
    on his way.

The beginning
 John Adams was one of the few men to be
elected into Continental Congress from their
own colonies. The first Continental Congress
was held on September 5, 1774. Not a lot of
people were in favor of John because he
knew what needed to be done and everybody
else didn’t want war to settle everything for
itself. He also did not have many friends. The
men who stuck by his side through his long
journey were Benjamin Franklin and Thomas
    Jefferson.

Elected into Congress
 A rush of small pox were discovered and Abigail’s only
daughter had the worst case of it because by a hope
of getting rid of the pox they needed to be vaccinated
with it. These vaccinations were horrifying to watch,
they would take the disease by a dying human of the
pox and slice open the arm and spread it around in
the open wound. She was cured after weeks of
nurturing from her mother who cared so deeply about
her. The doctor who vaccinated them was questioning
Abigail’s authority to have it done to all of her kids
when the man of the house was out of town. She
knew that this was a risk but it could make them all
    better.

Diseases
 John Adams was sent over the France to figure
out whether or not they were going to partner
with each other and declare a war. By the time
he arrived a few months after departure the war
had already taken place and now he was stuck
into the position of high powers and leadership.
He traveled back and took his son John Quincy
back with him who soon got shipped over to
Russia and started his line of duty while John
Adams went over to the Netherlands. We needed
the french money and to go to war with
England, this eventually happened as the
    Revolution during 1775-1783.

Over in France
 While John Adams, Abigail’s husband was away for months
at a time she had the duties of a house wife and doing all
the jobs that the men of the house should be doing such as
providing a safe environment for her kids, gardening, fixing
problems that may have occurred with the house, and
cooking meals everyday, all day. She was also John’s
mentor and loyalist through all of the rough times. John
looked up to Abigail just as John Quincy looked up to him.
She was always there for support to him and helped him
navigate and pick apart issues with the Congress. When
times were tough Abigail found ways to cope but one
afternoon she was asked to meet up to eat some dinner
with the French general and as they talked he said “I would
have chose my family over duties”. This didn’t seem real to
Abigail because being with John meant duties came first no
    matter what the situation was.

Abigail Adams
 John Adams started out as a Vice President for George
Washington which he took as an insult sense the only thing a Vice
does is determine against a tie. Once Washington passed away
and went out of office John Adams had become president. He
knew that by choosing against war yet again he would not be re-
elected for a second term as president. He also knew that his
choice was the best choice for our country to be safe. On his last
night of being president he did what they called a series of
midnight judges and made as many appointments of laws as he
could. He wanted to better help his people before it all came
crashing down with the new presidency. He was a federalist and
wanted the federalist judges in play and support the national
government. Most people wouldn’t agree with this but that is why
John Adams is a hero, when nobody listened he didn’t just go
along with them he continued to persuade them until they
actually “heard” him instead of just listening to the words coming
    out of his mouth.

Presidency for John Adams
Charles – he was the middle son of John Adams, a drunk who
never got his life secured. He became ill and only a short
couple of weeks later he had passed away.
Abigail 2nd – She had been diagnosed with breast cancer and
the doctor did surgery and removed one of the breasts but
then a couple of months later it came back and there was
no further way of curing it so she passed away as well.
Abigail – The wife of John Adams was frail and old and
passed away simply of old age and being drowned of all of
  what was left of energy.
John Adams – He passed away of being ill and old, he had
just turned 90 and on the anniversary of July 4th, the
coming of our nation 50 years later he passed away a few
hours after his partner Thomas Jefferson had. John Adams
  – a true American hero.

Death comes to an end.

  1. Add dates and think of images that will bring the ironies out. Quotes and letters can be used as well or even a “quote from a letter”
