I used it for the extra help on my evaluations.
I used it for a check list when completing my evaluation tasks.
What did I learn from it?
I learnt that you need to talk in detail over certain areas of the
evaluation.
I learnt that you need to read the questions carefully before

What did I use it for?
I used it for comparison against my blog to see where I could
improve my grade.
I used it to see how people could lay posts when I did not
understand certain tasks.
What did I learn from it?
I learnt that each blog should be specific to the person who
created it.
I learnt that the simpler the blog looks the easier it is to concentrate
on the information within it.
6. Pearl and Dean
What did I use it for?
I used Pearl and Dean to research the figures behind films such as
the level on 18-24 year olds that watched a film.
I used it to see how popular specific genres are when planning the
piece.
What did I learn from it?
I learnt that crime thrillers are not in the top 5 film genres.
I learnt that most crime thrillers are watched by 18-24 year olds.
7. Blogger
What did I use it for?
I used it for holding all the posts for my coursework.
I used it to publish all my coursework in one place, including all the
videos.
What did I learn from it?
I have learnt to embed material from other sites.
I have learnt organisational skills.
I have learnt how to plan uploads and timescales accurately.
8. YouTube
What did I use it for?
I used it to publish my audience research, rough cut and final piece.
I used it for researching film openings and watching other groups
research from previous years.
I used it to annotate my film for task 5.
What did I learn from it?
I learnt that you can alter the people who can watch your videos.
I learnt that you can annotate the video on YouTube rather than just
edit it before uploading.
9. Scribd
What did I use it for?
I used Scribd for uploading any word documents that I had
coursework on.
I used it to put the documents onto my blog.
What did I learn from it?
I learnt that you can embed the code from your document to your
blog.
I learnt that you can link your Scribd page to your blog page.
10. slideshare
What did I use it for?
I used slideshare for the PowerPoints that I created for the
coursework.
I used it so that I could put the PowerPoints online and then put the
embedding code onto my blog for the examiner to see.
What did I learn from it?
I learnt that you can embed code from slideshare onto your blog.
I learnt that you can upload multiple PowerPoints at once.
11. Prezi
What did I use it for?
I used Prezi to create interactive online presentations.
I used Prezi to contribute to the variety on my coursework blog.
What did I learn from it?
I learnt that you can use different templates in order to make your
presentation more specific.
I learnt that you can post Prezi’s on your blog.
12. IMovie
What did I use it for?
I used it for the editing of all my pieces.
I used it for the editing of all of the extra films such as audience
research.
What did I learn from it?
I learnt that there are many different techniques that you can use
when editing.
I learnt that you can upload the videos straight from IMovie to
YouTube.
13. Camera
What did I use it for?
I used the camera for filming the rough cut, final piece and
preliminary task.
I used the camera to film all of the audience research tasks and we
will also use it to film some of the evaluation.
What did I learn from it?
I learnt that the focus on the camera can achieve great effects.
I learnt that once you have found focus you do not change the
focus whilst filming.
