the families who went to Chiang Mai to study overseas at a young
age. For the parents who intend to come to Chiang Mai or have
lived in Chiang Mai, this is a report that shows the overall
situation.
For the Schools:
This report reflects the basic situation of Chinese families
studying overseas and their willingness to choose schools and
have a certain guiding significance for schools to recruit students
and offer services to Chinese families. Due to the differences in
culture and background, Chinese parents sometimes have their
own special needs and concerns. If the schools can combine the
own data for further statistical analysis, the schools may know
more about the characteristics of Chinese families, communicate
with Chinese parents better, and deal with their common
questions and needs better.
For the Others:
For other organizations serving Chinese families studying
overseas, this report could be a window for you to understand the
situation of this group, so as to provide better services, reduce
vicious competition and achieve win-win results.

Out of the 422 people who have finished school interviews, 272
people failed for various reasons, as shown in the table below.

* Age is caulculated on August 1, 2020
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 in
2020, the admission work of each
school was more stressful. There
were only 13 interview failure cases
in the whole year, all of which are in
the three British schools VCIS, SBS
and LIST, and are evenly distributed
in grade levels above primary school.
All the reasons were that the English
ability did not meet the
corresponding grade requirements of
the school. See the table on the right.
