3. Plot
Intro:
Our 4 characters, a group of school friends, meet in the morning and
head to school. We will see some shots of him(Henry) get ready in the
morning, we will insinuate he is washing without having to show him
actually doing so, this will be achieved through different camera angles
i.e. close ups and mid shots, and then will see shots of him in his car
going to pick up his friend, and then carry on into school . The
introduction will focus on Henry as the main character. He will be the
one we will see get ready and be the focus for our film. At different
intervals we will show the time insinuating as the two travel to school
they are going to be late and miss the start of school.
4. Camera Shots
- Close up
- Mid shot
- Long shot
- Two shot
- POV
- Over the shoulder
- Low angle shot
These will be used to show our characters together as they travel to school and around school. This
will show the audience who our characters are and who the rest of the film would revolve around.
We will also include a time lapse to include as much of the journey as possible.
We will film the opening scene using a Canon EOS 1300D. The majority of the opening sequence will
be filmed on this camera, as it has the ability to capture images and footage at a higher quality of
1080p. For the two shot angle, looking from inside the car we will use a GoPro Hero 4, this is
because it will be easier to capture the footage because of the confined space of the front of the
car. This wont impact the quality of our scene as the GoPro also has the ability to capture footage at
1080p.
