2. Who we are
HEPHAESTUS established in 1926 as a
manufacturing company producing steam boilers,
pressure vessels and tanks.
In the 70’s Hephaestus, sharing the global efforts
for the environmental protection and better
management of energy resources, designed and
constructed pioneering systems, for the
exploitation of biomass.
Hephaestus know-how expands also in the
construction of water tube power plant boilers for
high pressure superheated steam with capacity
levels reaching 100tons of steam per hour.

Fire tube type Boiler with capacity up to 60.000 kg/h steam
and operating pressure up to 35barg / temperature up to
350 ⁰C, using Liquid, Gaseous, Solid and/or Biomass Fuel.
 GENERATORS FOR CO-GENERATION POWER PLANT
Water tube type generator with capacity up to 100.000kg/h
steam/ 80mw water and operating pressure up to 80barg /
temperature up to 550 ⁰C, using Liquid, Gaseous, Solid
and/or Biomass Fuel.
 HEAT RECOVERY BOILERS
Forced or natural circulation heat recovery fire tube boilers
for hot-superheated waste/exhaust gas
 HEAT RECOVERY GENERATORS
Forced or natural circulation heat recovery water tube
generators for hot-superheated water, saturated-superheated
steam using waste/exhaust gas

Directly or indirectly fired, operating pressure up to
80barg /temperature up to 550 ⁰C
 HEAT EXCHANGERS
Shell & tube he, finned tube he, double pipe he, coil
type he. Design pressure up to 150barg and
temperature 450 ⁰C
 ECONOMIZERS
Eco for engine / boiler flue gases, eco for incoming
combustion air
