INDUSTRIAL AGE

A Look at Western Europe and Japan
  in the 19th century shows that the
  U.S. was not the only one building
railroads, factories, taken immigrants
   from farms or other nations and
           spawned huge cities
  Although the industrial revolution
 came to america after great britain,it
swept through the american economy
   in a little more then a generation
United states by 1900 was the world's
    leading industrial power with a
 manufacturing output exceeding the
     combined total of great britain,
          france, and germany.
Americas surge to
  industrialization was in
great due to its vast amount
     of natural resources
    late 19th century the
  american economy was
increasingly dominated by
  big business corporation
  a few dozen companies
 controlled their industries
         nationwide
