2. UTI UTI stands for urinary tract infection. 3. Cysto Cysto is an abbreviation for Cystoscopy. A Cystoscopy is a visual examination of the urinary bladder using an instrument called a cystoscope.
4. Cath Cath stand for Catheterization, an insertion of a tube through the urethra and into the urinary bladder for the purpose of withdrawing urine of inserting dye.
5. RP RP stands for Retrograde pyelogram, a diagnostic X-ray in which dye is inserted through the urethra to outline the bladder, ureters, and renal pelvis.
6. BUN BUN is an abbreviation for Blood Urea Nitrogen. It is a blood test to measure kidney function by the level of nitrogenous waste, or urea, that is in the blood.
