Wise Skill Objectives
Positive Speech
Students will understand the power of words and will see
the importance of speaking positive words to others.
Positive Thoughts
Students will learn how their thoughts affect their attitudes
and actions and see the importance of having positive
thoughts.
Self-Respect
Students will see the importance of treating themselves
with respect.
Respect for Others
Students will understand the importance of having respect
for others.
Resolving Conflicts
Wisely
Students will see the importance of solving disagreements
peacefully and will gain skills for effective conflict
resolution.

Are teasing, putdowns, and insults fun or funny?
Treat other people the way you want to be treated.
Be courteous and polite.
Listen to what other people have to say.
Don't insult people, or make fun of them, or call them names.
Don't bully or pick on others.

What is a caring person?
Treat people with kindness and generosity.
