5. Test Policy – Make-up
Tests
• No cap on make-up test marks if absent due to
(a) competition
(b) attachment
(c) school functions
• Make-up tests due to Medical Reasons:
– Valid MC must be submitted, parent’s letter not accepted
– MC for ≥ 2 days → no cap of marks
– MC for 1 day → subject teachers may impose a cap of 69% at their
discretion e.g. no valid MC is submitted
