The Samudayik Vikas Samiti (SVS) is an NGO established in 1999 to work for the development and welfare of poor and marginalized communities. SVS provides vocational training, legal assistance, and community development programs. It operates education centers and runs skill development programs in partnership with the government and corporations to empower youth, women, and disabled individuals with livelihood skills.

Samudayik Vikas Samiti aims at transforming our
nation into a “POVERTY-FREE INDIA”, so that our
country could become a strong, powerful and a
well-developed nation. To achieve this objective,
Samudayik Vikas Samiti is tirelessly trying its best
to the empowerment of Women, Senior Citizens,
and Youth, making them in the mainstream of
inclusive development of our Society. To enable
them dignified and most respectable citizens in a
developed country context.

5. • The Samudayik Vikas Samiti (SVS) an NGO got its registration certificate on 16th
March 1999 under societies registration act XXI, 1860 to promote, facilitate,
conduct and co-ordinate social actions/programs for the emancipation and
upliftment of the weaker sections particularly those who are socially challenged
and discriminated against on the grounds of gender, caste, and creed.
• Samudayik Vikas Samiti has been working with the poor and the marginalized in
the slums and resettlement colonies of Delhi to touch and transform the lives of
thousands of people who live in vulnerabilities.
• Community Mobilization and Participatory Development are the twin Pillars of
our social work activities. We are committed to participatory community-owned
self-sustainable models of development.

6. • Samudayik Vikas Samiti dreams of an India where every family can
live in a decent house in a peaceful neighborhood where food is
plentiful, clean water and pure air, where every child can go to a
good school, play on green fields.
• Where everyone can find a job where not any place is unsafe or
unsanitary and women have nothing to fear where a good doctor
and hospital are neither too far away nor too expensive where
there is no high or low but people are treated as equals and where
people and different communities are friendly, united and free.

with having experience of 25 years in the field of

10. WORK TOWARDS ORPHANS
• Samudayik Vikas Samiti foundation was initially formed to extend a helping
hand, in every possible manner, to every needy and deserving individual and
focus to orphanage children & destitute-Street children. Foundation is
concentrating on ORPHANS with the dream to transform their misfortune
into fortune through humble and dedicated efforts.
• The organization uses quality research and data to understand issues,
implements new and innovative interventions that address the situation of
children, and works with partners to bring those innovations to fruition.

11. Our organization is uses its community-level knowledge to develop
innovative interventions to ensure that women and children are able
to access basic services such as clean water, health visitors and
educational facilities, and that these services are of high quality. At
the same time, reaches out directly to families to help them to
understand what they must do to ensure their children thrive. It is
located in Delhi.These enable the organization to focus attention on
the poorest and most disadvantaged communities, alongside its
work at the national level.
