4. Our History
Started in February 1997
Born out of the need for a
realistic support system for
the street children living
around the New Delhi
Railway Station
To help prevent the
children from abuse and
petty crime
Funded initially by
collecting waste
newspaper and selling
them as bags
Organic growth into a
residential care home
5. A home with a
difference!
Co-ed home with new-age, modern,
multicultural values unlike other
structured Indian institutes
Children, young adults with special
needs, youth, staff, dogs, hens, ducks
all co-exist harmoniously
Children run the home with adults as
equals
A true home: where every donor,
volunteer becomes part of our
growing family
Every child is encouraged to follow
their own dreams unlike regular
institutions providing limited
opportunities
Alumni participate and stay
connected as family
