2. LEARNING TARGET:
• Students will be able to define the term precept, and identify multiple examples of
precepts.
• Students will begin to understand the meaning of precepts by practicing metaphors
and similies through class discussions.

3. PRECEPT:
• Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can
look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.
