ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE, the youth exchange provider with global execution capabilities, is offering enriching and affordable High School Study Abroad Summer programs.
3. Since the year 1929, ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE has had a tradition of
transforming lives. The organization offers study abroad programs and
scholarships, allowing students to develop leadership skills, learn new
languages, discover different cultures, and evolve into a global citizen. The
exchanges are well structured and implemented across 100 countries via local
Rotary Clubs in the destination country. The student’s safety concerns are fully
catered to, and so are the nutrition and accommodation requirements for the
entire exchange duration. A 24/07/365 worldwide emergency assistance is
provided to keep participants away from harm’s way.
The spokesperson at ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE recently stated, “Over 90
years on, ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE has been exposing students to a new
country, a new culture, a new way of life and a new language, one exchange at
a time. The exposure helps the individual’s emergence as a tolerant and
resilient persona ready to take challenges in personal and professional life,
frontally. We allow foreign exchange students to opt for a short-term exchange
in the summer, a full academic year of high school, or a gap year. With such a
variety of options readily available, students can choose exchanges based on
their objectives, time constraints, and budget.”
4. The Summer Abroad programs get underway in the summers when schools
are closed. A typical summer abroad program ranges in duration from several
days to a few weeks and are structured as homestays, tours, family-to-family,
and international youth camps. These exchanges are devoid of any school
time but the student has the option to tailor them to satiate his/her itchy feet.
He/she can include local sightseeing tours and excursions in the program to
get up close and personal with the destination country’s natural, cultural, and
architectural splendors. For more information, interested students can log on
to Studyabroadscholarships.org.
On High School Study Abroad Summer Programs, the spokesperson further
stated, “Our High School Study Abroad Summer program is apt for students
who have a spirit of adventure but lack the intent or time to spend a whole
school year abroad. These exchanges are open to any boy or girl, aged
between 15 and 19 years, and a leader in his/her community. Short-term
exchanges usually involve a Rotary district-organized exchange of a son or
daughter between two families. However, exchanges are also structured as
international youth camps or tours where students from different countries
and different backgrounds come together to interact and share.”
5. High School Study Abroad Summer programs are easy on the pocket, being
sponsored by Rotary International, and completely administered by volunteer
Rotary club members. The stay and meals are covered in the program fee but
the parents have to cover round-trip airfare, travel insurance, including
medical, accident, and illness coverage and meets the requirements of host
clubs and districts, along with travel documents (passports and visas),
ancillary travel, and optional tours, spending money and unexpected
expenses.
