2. MEN Celtic men wore either linen tunics with a woolen brat or a jacket with short trousers or shorts. They did not wear underwear. WOMEN Celtic women wore either linen tunics or jackets.
3. LEINE Male Leine- was worn by kings, chieftains, and warriors. They were pinned at the shoulders and worn down to the knees. Female Leine- was worn by all women. They were pinned at the shoulders and sleeveless. Women wore them down to the ankles, unlike the men.
4. BRAT Male Brats- made from wool and looked like a cloak. They were worn to represent their wealth and the skill of the wives. They weren’t only used for clothing, they were also used as blankets and other necessary items. Female Brats- looked exactly the same as the males brats and also used for the same reasons.
5. INAR Worn by the males, they looked like modern day bathrobes and were worn by the common-shoulders. Used as an extra layer of clothing to keep warm.
6. TRUIS Acting as pants, they were worn just above the knee and had an ankle loop on them to keep them in place. Only worn by the men.
7. MALE ACESSORIES Celtic men wore leather belts that either buckled in the front or the back. They belts had a small pouch attached used to carry personal items. The men also wore bronze armlets around there arms.
8. FEMALE ACESSORIES Celtic women wore belts that were either leather or woven, they also had small pouches attached to them to carry personal items. They would sometimes dye their eyebrows black with berry juice and redden their cheeks with a certain plants. The most common was called a Ruam plant.
