2. My media Production follows the forms and conventions of a real media production in a variety of
ways for instance
A mixed documentary, with a single strand, non linear and open ending.
The question asked is edited out, the person getting interviewed says the question in their
answer.
Uses a clear, simple voice over that keeps the narrative structure together.
3. It shows the correct framing in the interview slightly to
the left of the camera and not looking directly into it.
The Mis en scene follows the normal
forms and conventions in my
documentary as it links to the topic
Here we have used simple bold English text that
stands out to the reader and is easy to
understand.

4. Here is one of our basic cut a ways which
is a common form and convention in a
media documentary
Throughout my documentary, we haven’t
used any effects on our work to create a more
realistic view.
In this picture, there has been a
very simple and normal cut shot
allowed me to switch between my
interview to my cut away.
5. Radio Advert
Our radio trailer follows the correct timing
schedule that a professional radio trailer
would last (30 seconds).
We have used quotes in our radio trailer
that also appear in our final product
In the radio trailer the title of the
documentary is mentioned so the
listener knows what it is.
The voice over is standard English, gives
information about scheduling and channel
(which is mentioned last).
We have used the
same backgorund
music in both our
radio trailer and
final product
6. Newspaper advert
In the bottom right of the
corner it has the offical
BBC 3 logo that is clear to
understand.
In the bottom left corner of the advert it
has the title in the biggest font, with the
slogan just underneath the then date
and time the documentary is on.
In our newspaper advert it has one
simple, main image that creates a sense
of effect and seriousness about our
documentary, but it also is clear to the
viewer what is going.
The text in the radio advert
is clear and very easy to
understand. It is written in
standard English. It also
follows the colour system
set by the BBC 3 with
bright pink text.
