Here we found a difference between sewerage system
and water supply systems where in water supply
system water flows under pressure.
For design sewage system we used two area; Nirala
south site and Toronto city (Canada) and both two
areas are then combined to design a sewerage systems.
Nirala south site covers 25% of the area and Toronto
covers 75% of the area.

Water treatment is any process that improves the
quality of water to make it more acceptable for a
specific end use. The end use may be drinking,
irrigation, water recreation etc.
Water treatment removes contaminants and
undesirable components or reduces there concentration
so that water becomes fit for its desired end use.

After visiting KUET WTP following important features can
be noted:
1. Daily production rate about 60 thousands gallon
2. Source of water of treatment plant are :
60% underground water
40% surface water
3. Bleaching powder is used as chemical and rate 100gm
per 20 Litters
4. KUET WTP supply water only Dormitory and office.
5. Total labor and operation cost =15 laces tk per year

-Two maintenance of pumping
