Construction PQI
E & I will be supported by providing additional QC. Currently additional
support for package preparation is provided.
Additional QC is provided for mechanical site surveillance.
QC shall act proactively in situations where the job is not ready in order to
cancel the RFI’s in case they are raised under pressure from
Construction/PMT/Proponent
To avoid INCR’s escalating to SALBE QC will proactively notify Construction
Manager on issues nearing ACD
Lesson learned experienced during site installations shall be utilized in
material receiving inspection for Compliance.
QC is empowered to highlight quality issues through INCR

Currently additional support for package preparation is provided. Additional QC is provided for mechanical site surveillance. QC shall act proactively in situations where the job is not ready in order to cancel the RFI’s in case they are raised under pressure from Construction/PMT/Proponent To avoid INCR’s escalating to SALBE QC will proactively notify Construction Manager on issues nearing ACD Lesson learned experienced during site installations shall be utilized in material receiving inspection for Compliance. QC is empowered to highlight quality issues through INCR

Aside from monitoring the main contractors PQIs, Inspection Department recently established for the first time, the Sub-contractor PQIs where we are monitoring in Fadhili projects (13) major sub-contractors with the main objective of building a data base for subcontractors and strive for elevate their overall performances: In terms of the PQI for the major subcontractors, that are handling Electro Mechanical scope, for Inlet gas and process utilities, 3 subcontractors PCMC for the main pipe rack, (Saungchang for inlet area) & Sinopec for process utilities and gas trains. For the Sulfur Recovery the main subcontractor Nasser Al Hajri (NSH). The PQI for Sinopec is 87.9% and For the Sulfur Recovery subcontractor Nasser Al Hajri (NSH) PQI is 94.8% for the current month. For the other main sub-Contractors PCMC & Sungchang the PQI is stopped since the project progress is above 99.5%.The last PQI monitored for PCMC is 95.3% , & for Sungchang the PQI is 75.5%. To enhance the contractor and subcontractors overall PQI and reflect on the project quality improvement, the project teams are closely working with all contractors to bridge all the identified gaps through continuous focus meetings, and awareness sessions, establishment of quality kickoff meetings for all major construction activities where lessons learners and minimum quality requirements are thoroughly addressed prior to commencing construction activities. By doing so, continual improvement is being reflected as we progress in the projects.
