3. The Black Sea is a body of water and marginal sea of
the Atlantic Ocean between Eastern Europe,
the Caucasus, and Western Asia. It is supplied by a
number of major rivers, such as
the Danube, Dnieper, Southern Bug, Dniester, Don, and
the Rioni. About a third of Europe drains into the Black
Sea, including the countries of Austria, Belarus, Bosnia
and
Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech, Georgia, German
y.Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Sl
ovakia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine.

4. The Danube Delta
The Danube Delta is the second largest river
delta in Europe, after the Volga Delta, and is the
best preserved on the continent. The greater part
of the Danube Delta lies in Romania (Tulcea
County), while its northern part, on the left bank of
the Chilia arm, is situated in Ukraine (Odessa
Oblast). Its approximate surface area is 4,152 km².
5. The Transfagarasan
The Transfagarasan or DN7C is a paved
mountain road crossing the southern section of
the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. It has
national-road ranking and is the second-highest
paved road in the country after the Transalpina.
It starts near Pitesti, and stretches 90 km. The
road, built in the early 1970s as a strategic
military route, connects the historic regions of
Transylvania and Wallachia.

the Arges County. The capital and largest city
of Arges River, it is an important commercial
and industrial center, as well as the home of
two universities. Pitesti is situated in the
historical region of Muntenia.

10. Inhabited since prehistoric times but first
mentioned in the 14th century, it developed as a
trading town in northern Wallachia, serving as an
informal residence for various Wallachian
Princess until the 18th century. During the early
stages of the communist regime, it was one of the
main sites of political repression, with the Pitesti
prison becoming home to an experiment in
brainwashing techniques.

FC Arges is a football club in Pitesti,
Romania. The club was founded in 1953 under
the name of Dinamo Pitesti, debuting in the
first division in 1961. It was one of the top
teams of the 70s, succeeding in winning two

reeducation experiments carried out between
December 1949 and September 1951, during
Communist party rule. The experiment,
implemented by a group of prisoners under the
guidance of the prison administration, was
designed as an attempt at violently "reeducating"
the mostly young political prisoners.

15. The "Dacia" high school from Pitesti will teach you
everything you have to now about engineering, and car
construction in a way that you can learn and work in the UE
after finishing. We are preparing our students in a good way
so they can work for the biggest car production from South
Europe, Dacia Group Renault. Our high school is gifted with
new technology, but the daily study is the same as the other
high schools. The learning progress is made in our mother
language, but also you can study french and english. Our
high school is close to the center of the town (about 1000
meters). Dacia High school gives you the opportunity of
joining to Erasmus+ project. It will take part in every year in
different months.

Machine Building was established. Since
1973 the high school has been working in
Pitesti. In 1982 he became the Industrial
High School Number 1. In 1995 he turned
into School Group I.C.M. Dacia Pitesti.
From 2012 the high school is called Dacia
Technological High School in Pitesti.
