The Week 2 post got the highest view I started posting a link to the
article on SNS I’m using.
My friends on Facebook came
to see my blog just wondering.

a)Blog
The week has the greatest number of views for blogs is Monday. I posted it
late at night on Sunday. Therefore, I guess everyone see it on Monday and gave
me many comments. Also, I guess that Monday is the beginning of a week and
people reset the feeling by reading blogs.
Another reason is that people enjoy the weekend and their leisure time and
do not have time to access to blogs.

Some points to be improved
1. add English subtitles
2. use an editing technique “jump cut”
3. good pronounciation
Do you think that you will keep up a blog
after the end of class?
Maybe, I will not use a blog because I have nothing to post on…
But…
I want to start using a blog for work if I establish my brand, or I need to build a
blog in case of necessity in the future.

I learned that I need to focus on not only “Like” but also “Talking About This”
on Facebook. “Talking About This” is the number of people who have created a
story from your page post. It indicates how well a page is engaging fans, not
simply how popular something is, and people care for that.
Facebook is an effective tool because it has the ability to deliver bland’s
content only to those users with the most potential interest in the bland’s
product or service.
We can increase exposure to potential customers by using Facebook.

The strength of using Twitter as a SMM tool is that twitter by nature is public.
When people are tweeting, it basically goes to the entire universe. Compared
Twitter with Facebook, Facebook is private and people talk about something
with only friends. On the other hand, Twitter by nature is open. Therefore, if you
are a marketer and anyone wants to find someone with talking about your
products or brands, its very easy for you to target and find them because
Twitter has large keywords and hashtags to search. Spreading tweets instantly
and sharing them around the globe is also a nature of Twitter and it is a kind of
strength as a SMM tool.

One major of the weakness of utilizing Twitter for business is that tweets
that companies post in public can be held directly against the company.
Companies are exposed to malevolent and adverse accounts created by
persons whose only purpose is to damage the company's reputation and
impression. Spammers, scammers, trolls and all other types of malevolent
individuals are always nitpicking and they plot to spread harmful information
and fake story.

5 people/organizations I have decided to follow on
Twitter
- Jacob Cass, he is a popular graphic and logo designer
and I think that his tweets will help me to apply to my
designs when I decide how to choose a color and logo for
my brand.

Fashionista.com and VOGUE JAPAN are useful to
get information about the latest trends in beauty
world including fashion and cosmetics.
H&M is fast fashion and Valentino is high brand. By
following these different kind of brand, I am thinking
that I will be able to understand their different
strategies on SSM. Besides, they tell me trends and
new ideas.

I will continue to use Twitter because Twitter is the
mainstream of any SNS in Japan, and many people use it.
Twitter had become my main source of information.
I can acquire real-time information through Twitter.
4. LinkedIn
I can use LinkedIn to deliver my content only to those users with the most
potential interest in my product or services of my brand. When it comes to
business, it enables a business to deliver specific content to a very specific
target group. This approach can maximize targeted reach while minimizing
waste.
Furthermore, I can market myself to a company that I want to work in through
LinkedIn.

4. LinkedIn
I've heard of the name "LinkedIn", but I've never used it before because I
think LinkedIn is not popular in Japan. However, I found that LinkedIn is
a effective tool to stay up-to-date with the news from my industry or
field of interest. This is a primary benefit it keeps me in the current loop,
indicates upcoming trends or significant ideas, and provides a ripe
stomping ground for sharing experiences and advice among experts
surrounding topics that are important to the business.
Closing thoughts
I learned that it is important to use SNS for marketing effectively. There are
many strategies.
Case study is the most useful for me.
I want to use LinkedIn more for the future.
I will not use Vlog in the future because it takes a lot of time to prepare and edit
it, and I do not like talking to the computer.

  • 3. 1. Showcasing my brog a)Blog -8 posts 13 comments Got the most comments on Sunday The Week 2 post got the highest view I started posting a link to the article on SNS I’m using. My friends on Facebook came to see my blog just wondering.
  • 4. 1. Showcasing my brog a)Blog The week has the greatest number of views for blogs is Monday. I posted it late at night on Sunday. Therefore, I guess everyone see it on Monday and gave me many comments. Also, I guess that Monday is the beginning of a week and people reset the feeling by reading blogs. Another reason is that people enjoy the weekend and their leisure time and do not have time to access to blogs.

  • 6. Do you think that you will keep up a blog after the end of class? Maybe, I will not use a blog because I have nothing to post on… But… I want to start using a blog for work if I establish my brand, or I need to build a blog in case of necessity in the future.

Facebook I learned that I need to focus on not only “Like” but also “Talking About This” on Facebook. “Talking About This” is the number of people who have created a story from your page post. It indicates how well a page is engaging fans, not simply how popular something is, and people care for that. Facebook is an effective tool because it has the ability to deliver bland’s content only to those users with the most potential interest in the bland’s product or service. We can increase exposure to potential customers by using Facebook.
  • 10. 3. Twitter The strength of using Twitter as a SMM tool is that twitter by nature is public. When people are tweeting, it basically goes to the entire universe. Compared Twitter with Facebook, Facebook is private and people talk about something with only friends. On the other hand, Twitter by nature is open. Therefore, if you are a marketer and anyone wants to find someone with talking about your products or brands, its very easy for you to target and find them because Twitter has large keywords and hashtags to search. Spreading tweets instantly and sharing them around the globe is also a nature of Twitter and it is a kind of strength as a SMM tool.
  • 11. 3. Twitter One major of the weakness of utilizing Twitter for business is that tweets that companies post in public can be held directly against the company. Companies are exposed to malevolent and adverse accounts created by persons whose only purpose is to damage the company's reputation and impression. Spammers, scammers, trolls and all other types of malevolent individuals are always nitpicking and they plot to spread harmful information and fake story.
  • 12. 3. Twitter 5 people/organizations I have decided to follow on Twitter - Jacob Cass, he is a popular graphic and logo designer and I think that his tweets will help me to apply to my designs when I decide how to choose a color and logo for my brand.
  • 13. 3. Twitter Fashionista.com and VOGUE JAPAN are useful to get information about the latest trends in beauty world including fashion and cosmetics. H&M is fast fashion and Valentino is high brand. By following these different kind of brand, I am thinking that I will be able to understand their different strategies on SSM. Besides, they tell me trends and new ideas.
  • 14. 3. Twitter I will continue to use Twitter because Twitter is the mainstream of any SNS in Japan, and many people use it. Twitter had become my main source of information. I can acquire real-time information through Twitter.
  • 15. 4. LinkedIn I can use LinkedIn to deliver my content only to those users with the most potential interest in my product or services of my brand. When it comes to business, it enables a business to deliver specific content to a very specific target group. This approach can maximize targeted reach while minimizing waste. Furthermore, I can market myself to a company that I want to work in through LinkedIn.
  • 17. 4. LinkedIn I've heard of the name "LinkedIn", but I've never used it before because I think LinkedIn is not popular in Japan. However, I found that LinkedIn is a effective tool to stay up-to-date with the news from my industry or field of interest. This is a primary benefit it keeps me in the current loop, indicates upcoming trends or significant ideas, and provides a ripe stomping ground for sharing experiences and advice among experts surrounding topics that are important to the business.
  • 18. Closing thoughts I learned that it is important to use SNS for marketing effectively. There are many strategies. Case study is the most useful for me. I want to use LinkedIn more for the future. I will not use Vlog in the future because it takes a lot of time to prepare and edit it, and I do not like talking to the computer.
