A CHRISTMAS CRAFT AND A TRADITIONAL GREEK CHRISTMAS SWEET.

1. A Christmas craft and a sweet!

2. Christmas trees with pasta

3. We need:
• Cardboard paper sheets
• A plate or a round object
• A hot glue gun or craft glue
• Scissors
• Pasta
• Acrylic spray paint or acrylic paint and brushes

4. Draw a circle.

5. Cut the circle.

6. Fold and make a semi-circle

7. Fold again to form a triangle.

8. Unfold and cut till you reach the
centre of the circle.

9. Fold till you make a cone. Glue the
two sides.

10. You can make trees of all sizes. Then start
sticking the pasta using a hot glue gun or craft
glue.

11. Once the trees are ready, paint them
with acrylic paint or acrylic spray paint.

12. You can decorate them however you
like!

15. Ingredients
• 500gr butter (room temperature) (250gr cow butter and
250gr sheep butter)
• 2 egg yolks
• 20gr whiskey
• 700gr flour
• 250gr almonds, roughly chopped
• 100gr icing sugar
• 250
• Extra:500gr icing sugar to use after the biscuits are baked

16. Instructions
Put all the ingredients in a bowl.

17. Knead the dough.

18. Roll out the dough until
approximately 1cm
thick(or more).

19. Cut in any shape you
want. You can use a
glass or biscuit cutters.

20. Bake
at 180°C-200°C
for about 35-40
minutes.

21. Let them cool and sift
icing sugar over them.

22. Our kourambiedes are ready!
